Job Description

The HR team at Mitchell is an engaged and tight-knit group that is dedicated to moving our business forward. We’re looking to expand our team with a Senior Compensation Analyst to elevate the sales compensation function so we can scale with our diverse and rapidly growing business. This important role will lead sales compensation for the entire organization. We are looking for a new team member that has a passion for sales incentive plan design that delivers business results.

  • Partner with senior leadership, Finance, Legal and Human Resources to create and maintain effective compensation programs that drive results.
  • Lead sales compensation annual program assessment, plan design and modeling.
  • Complete market research to ensure sales compensation plans are competitive.
  • Lead change management, communication and training around annual sales compensation plan distribution for business units.
  • Support M&A activity by building sales compensation plans, in partnership with Finance and senior sales leadership, for newly acquired businesses.
  • Support HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition team and business leaders to solve sales compensation related issues.
  • Develop scalable processes and documentation to streamline sales compensation programs.
  • Drive compliance of sales compensation programs with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Economics, Finance, related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of expanding experience in compensation including sales compensation plan design.
  • Successful project leadership experience.
  • Ability to work successfully in teams across business functions and within the HR team.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects with overlapping time frames and shifting priorities.
  • Proven ability to develop successful business relationships and informal influence, including among executives.
  • Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills including formulas, charts, graphs, pivot tables, macros and VBA preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS software and reporting.
  • Experience with submitting to and reporting from salary surveys.
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is essential.
  • Ability to work with sensitive data and maintain confidentiality at all times.
