Job Description

Responsible for the management and direction of Mitchell’s Pharmacy Solutions - Medical Billing / Collections team. This involves managing, developing and leading a group of collection representatives to ensure superior collection results and a smooth efficient workflow. The manager will also assist in evaluating current collection processes, recommend changes when necessary and implement new workflow and process designs. This position reports to the Senior Director of Operations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supervising a team of collection representatives, establishing performance goals, providing focus and performance reviews, and supporting team and individual employee development
  • Setting objectives and prioritizes for the team, assigning tasks and ensuring quality of team member’s work
  • Evaluating existing processes to help identify, design, and implement process improvement to drive increased collections or workflow efficiency
  • Assist in monitoring the quality of the credit portfolio and identifying sources of increased or decreased credit quality
  • Reporting to key stakeholders on the performance of the team vs. objectives, key trends and health of credit portfolio


  • Proven experience leading, managing and developing a team
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively within a matrixed environment, with multiple levels of operations team members, including senior level managers
  • Exhibit flexibility and creatively in identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant operations experience in a related field (pharmacy, collections, medical billing)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint
