Job Description

Mitchell International seeks a Business Process Analyst to support and help to drive strategic business initiatives, which may include:

  • Process Improvement - Learn and document current process.  Develop and test improvements to current process, while supporting team with daily or monthly activities.
  • Process Development – Create new process for existing tasks, create new process for acquisitions. Document and train team members on new process.


The Analyst will also be responsible for:

  • driving projects from data collection and analysis to presentation of recommendations. Specific projects may vary depending on business needs.
  • Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives.
  • Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
  • Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
  • Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
  • Measures performance against process requirements.
  • Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance. 
  • May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
  • Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
  • Communicates team progress.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years' experience in data analysis, consulting, or related field.
  • Ability to use analytical, logical, and organizational skills to make business decisions using complex information.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
  • Proficient in SQL.

  • Excellent critical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly.
  • Strong, self-motivated team player.
