Job Description

 

Your responsibility will be to assume a key development role for a well-established enterprise J2EE web application software product in the automobile insurance space.

 

Job Duties

  • Make critical design and architectural decisions to keep up with changing needs and changing technologies.
  • Implement product features with accompanying unit tests and documentation.
  • Design and implement reusable and maintainable UI components using Apache Wicket.
  • Drive product innovation and incorporate new technology and technical paradigms.
  • Strive to make continuous improvements to the development process and make progress toward the ideals of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps.
  • Apply agile software development principles to promptly deliver quality software solutions which meet a diverse and changing set of customer needs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems encountered by customers.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

 

 

  • 10-15 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • jBoss, J2EE, Java
  • Experience with Eclipse IDE, IntelliJ or similar
  • Apache Wicket, JSP, Servlets, Web Services (SOAP/WSDL and REST), JAX-WS, JAX-RS
  • HTML5, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, JQueryUI, JSON, AJAX
  • JUnit, PowerMock, Mockito
  • XML, XML Schema, XSLT
  • JMS, IBM MQSeries
  • SQL, T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server
  • Conceptual understanding of SAML2, website security & encryption methodologies
  • Experience with build scripts (Ant, Maven)
  • TFS, Apache Ivy

Additional Desired Skills:

  • AngularJS
  • TestNG,JMockit, Selenium
