Job Description

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to drive the planning, execution, and optimization of online marketing efforts. In this role, you will be responsible to develop & manage the execution of digital marketing strategies that drive engagement and traffic to Mitchell’s digital elements in support of key business initiatives. Collaborate with marketing partners across the organization to integrate digital programs with traditional marketing plans to deliver 360-degree strategies that build awareness, acquisition, retention, and cultivate cross-channel opportunities.


The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and technology. You will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and have strong analytical background with business intelligence. You will be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce marketing campaigns.


Lead digital marketing efforts and provide guidance across the business

  • Function as a subject-matter expert and digital marketing resource for other business unit marketing teams, maintaining a cross-channel, customer-centric focus.
  • Utilizes a range of digital marketing platforms, techniques, and metrics including email, SEO, Social Media, A/B Testing, gated content/landing pages, web analytics, etc.
  • Partner with internal business partners to develop and execute reporting processes and continuously monitor digital marketing programs to ensure goals are delivered as defined.
  • Develop meaningful metrics that communicate results and provide ongoing reports to management
  • Measure program effectiveness and benchmark against KPIs, optimizing plans to achieve maximum performance.
  • Identifies new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of digital marketing developments, including mobile marketing
  • Working knowledge of paid advertising strategies and principles
  • Create content and execute effective digital marketing/media campaigns
  • Analyzes and tracks customer’s interaction with digital assets to drive increased brand engagement
  • Recommends and develops new online content to increase traffic, customer satisfaction, and engagement
  • Collect intelligence regarding competitive marketing activity in the digital arena
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Creating and following content calendar
  • Leverage influencers and customer community for consumer-driven brand advocacy
  • Take blogs and existing whitepaper content, and re-package as e-books or other formats that can drive leads


Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, communications or related discipline.

  • 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing field, including content development, web strategy, and marketing planning
  • Experience leading and managing social media, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly skilled at using the tools of the trade including marketing automation (e.g., Eloqua, Marketo), website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends), content management systems (WordPress) and Google Adwords campaigns
  • Advanced social media marketing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and present digital marketing data, create and execute email marketing campaigns and generate leads
  • Advanced skills in writing and optimizing digital content
  • Experience within B2B marketing, automotive and insurance services is a plus
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS development and constraints
