Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing for the Mitchell Auto Physical Damage Group, the Product Marketing Intern’s primary projects will be in the area of assisting with marketing operations as well as executing outbound marketing campaigns. This internship will work with Mitchell’s product marketing team and be mentored by marketing professionals.

 

Example of Previous Projects (your project(s) will be similar to those described below)

  • Understand key problems faced by the auto collision repair and insurance claims industry and identify the best Mitchell solution through an exercise of research, industry news, internal interviews, and product learnings.
  • Work within Eloqua to execute email-marketing campaigns targeting customers and prospects in the auto collision repair and insurance claims industry. Track and report metrics for the campaign and make recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness of the campaign.
  • Work with Product Managers to define key value propositions for interim releases in order to create targeted information/upgrade campaigns to existing customers.
  • Analyze the effectiveness and make recommendations for the Mitchell website through an analysis of SEO, top landing and exit pages, how individuals entered the site, etc.
  • Collaborate with product management teams to strategize marketing material for new enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate student, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field graduating in May/June 2018.
  • Key qualitative attributes:  solid blend between critical and creative thinking; outstanding communication skills; inspires and teams with others; goes the extra mile in getting things done right; at ease working across team boundaries
  • Ability to use analytical, logical, and organizational skills to make business decisions using ambiguous, and potentially complex, information
  • Knowledge of or hands-on experience with modern digital marketing methods: email campaigns, marketing automation, SEO, social media, web experience, etc.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills
