Job Description

We are currently looking to add a Software Development Engineer to join our team. This is a dynamic software engineering opportunity where you will be focused on developing, designing, and testing complex web/cloud based applications. Development will be enhancements, new features, and maintenance.


The candidate will provide technical expertise and best practices; write complex business logic; Plan, creates, and execute unit testing; Assist with analysis efforts and documentation.  This includes developing solutions based on business requirements in support of our Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other business units. The candidate will be able to resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.  You will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.  The candidate will demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.



  • Designs, analyzes, develops, codes, debugs, tests and documents programming to satisfy business requirements for large, complex projects.
  • Work as part of a Scrum team to deliver technology solutions in an Agile fashion including but not limited to sprint planning, standup calls, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Adheres to architecture standards, risk management and security policies.
  • Deliver solutions on Object Oriented languages and RDBMS based technologies.
  • Translate functional specifications into working software.
  • Assist in third level support of applications once delivered into Production.
  • Engineers will focus on providing development for middle tier to back.
  • Understand, define, and develop product requirements; providing development estimates as needed.
  • Use test driven development and scaled agile methods to deliver products to client requirements.
  • Write technical specifications and test plans as necessary; conduct and assist in unit and integration testing.
  • Participate regularly in SCRUM activities and provide mentorship to junior members of the team. 
  • Conduct unit, load, performance, and integration testing.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities: 

  • Competent in Agile methodology.
  • Good knowledge of Visual Studio and TFS.
  • SQL query language and related database experience required.
  • Experience understanding and developing design documents from business requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Logical and efficient.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.


  • Education:  4 year degree within Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
  • Written Abilities: Proficient grammar, sentence structure and written communication skills.
  • Design, development, testing, and deployment of software systems or applications.
  • Strong working knowledge of Object-oriented design/programming, n-tier web applications and relational databases.
  • Strong advocate of a process-driven software development lifecycle.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent analysis, design, writing and communication skills required.
  • 2-5 years working within a .NET environment, including interacting with a source control based SDLC.
  • Strong skills in OOP, C#, SQL, TFS, DevOps, UnitTesting, CICD, Databases.
  • Proficient grammar, sentence structure and written communication skills.
  • Experience developing web services (REST or SOAP) and XML.
  • Experience with SOA principles and practices.
  • Familiar with automated testing tools like coded UI, Selenium.
  • Net Core / ASPNET Core experience desired.
  • Exposure to Ajax, Typescript, JQuery, JSON, AngularJS, XSLT, CSS, HTML5 is desired.
  • Salesforce, Boomi, Netsuite exposure is a plus.
