    Job Description

    Mitchell International is seeking a highly talented Web Manager to take over management, maintenance, and planning of our corporate website,, and additional sub-branded websites. We are looking for someone proactive and entrepreneurial, a candidate with the experience to step in and own our website experiences: offering solid, justifiable recommendations to drive better business performance and improve our customers’ experience.



    • Proactively recommend improvements in user experience, site performance, or enhancements that support key business initiatives, all with an eye on elevating the customer’s experience.
    • Proactively monitoring items such a broken links, outdated content, brand misalignment, security risks and site performance.
    • Work with Creative Director and web team to design, develop, optimize, and maintain, our corporate website, as well as any related microsites. 
    • Coordinate across the organization to develop new content, designs, or recommendations. 
    • Monitor site traffic and performance, making strategic adjustments to meet user demands, best industry practices and business objectives. 
    • Maintain excellent communication, teamwork and customer experience skills.
    • Generate creative ideas and strategic recommendations based on industry foresight and competitive research.
    • Regularly test websites across multiple browsers, operating systems, and devices.
    • Address stakeholder complaints in a highly professional manner.
    • Help identify current business needs, scope against existing site capabilities, and create a 2018 plan for enhancements.
    • Utilize web analytics and SEO experience to make and implement recommendations.
    • Develop a working partnership with IT and hosting partners to successfully maintain appropriate security protocols and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
    • Be the primary point of contact in all aspects of website management, including planning, analytics, testing, reporting and maintenance.
    • On-call duty to ensure our websites are up 24/7



    • 8–10 years of experience in a similar role
    • A thorough knowledge of current website design practices and methodologies, keeping up with trends in marketing, including analytics and SEO. 
    • A deep understanding of all aspects of website management: from hosting, server management, design, development, content management, wireframing and search engine optimization.
    • Manager-level experience in the field and background in successfully identifying current business needs, scope against existing site capabilities, plan for enhancements, and leading the tactics of the plan.
    • Experience in technical, design, and/or content skills to manage both creative and technical aspects of the site. Experience in HTML, CSS, SQL, ASP.NET, Phython or back-end scripting a bonus.
    • Proficiency in the implementation and maintenance of the infrastructure, hardware, and software utilized for websites.
    • Strong background in monitoring web traffic, performance, and capacity to identify, prevent and resolve issues, and make recommendations for future improvements. 
    • Proficient with Progressive Web Apps and mobile best practices.
    • Proficient in A/B testing, on-page and off-page optimization, and ongoing site structure enhancements.
    • Experience in directly coordinating with stakeholders to ensure that the site provides content and functionality that meets the business needs of the organization. 
    • Experience in website management tools, specifically CMSes, SEO, analytics and other web performance tools.
    • Extremely flexible. Ability to adapt to changing business needs in a disciplined, detail-oriented and professional manner.
    • Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
    • BS/BA in Computer Science, Design or related field preferred.
