Job Description

Conducts technical training courses for customers and/or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple products. Interacts with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses. Prepares lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation. Works with engineering, technical support and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features. Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions. Follows up to determine applicability of course material.


  • Associates’ degree in Organizational Development, Education, Learning & Development, HR, Business, or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years training experience developing relevant curriculum or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to successfully work in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and/or Technical personnel.
  • Must possess excellent facilitation skills.
  • Solid commitment to customer and associate service.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to identify organizational issues of diverse scope and complexity, develop solutions, and implement action plans.
  • Must be able to work independently on several projects simultaneously with intrinsic motivation to finish assigned projects on time.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills including Technical Writing.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Power Point, Word, Excel
  • Familiarity with Sharepoint
  • Familiarity with virtual classrooms such as GoToMeeting and WebEx
  • Experience with Articulate, Claro, Captivate, Camtasia, or similar training development software a plus
