    Job Description

    • This is an overarching software development champion role, who distills the requirements using ATDD methodology for delivery of product tools and solutions using SAFe 4.0 framework.

      • A Technical Feature Champion
      • A Tech Lead and Hands-on Design & Developer
      • Works with Feature/Product Manager (PM) to distill Feature and Stories in TFS as per the guidelines
      • Provides Technical viability and feasibility assessment of the feature implementation
      • Collaborate with Architects and UX for an overarching cross-functional feature design
      • Owns and Controls Feature’s Time and Quality Risks
      • Defines and Detail Technical Commercial grade SW Functional and Non-Functional requirements
      • Defines Low Level Design and Development Goals to the Scrum
      • Authors Agile Feature Artifacts
      • Develop client and internal Tools, Procedures and Solutions (TPS) expectations.
      • Own the TPS Development throughout the entire ALM of the project.
      • Maintain the knowledge base of customer business workflows as well as the design & implementation workflows of APD Portfolio Products to maintain the TPS roadmap.
      • Run agile requirements gathering workshops (functional, non-functional, data, and wireframing)

     

    Qualifications

    • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Use of rapid tools and software development methodologies and frameworks such as scripting languages, Python, R, Node.js, Angular, Front and Backend builders, SQL and NoSQL
    • Ability to bring flexibility and thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing/changing priorities
    • Highly logical thinker who can work in a team and cross functional environment
    • Design and implement high-volume, low-latency, distributed processing layers, making thoughtful tradeoffs between complexity vs usability
    • Write web application logic and design layouts to rapidly build new capabilities for numerous customers
    • Be part of a cross-functional matrix team, with a ownership and responsibility for managing things directly
    • 2 to 10 years of experience in the following:
      • C#/Java programming
      • AngularJS
      • JavaScript and related frameworks (React, Ember, and/or Vue)
      • Python
      • ASP.NET/ MVC
    • Experience with database design, ORMs, migrations, including relational and NoSQL databases
    • Experience with REST API design principles
    • Experience with distributed systems and cloud computing
    • Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure
    • Experience working with user interface and user experience development
    • Experience in systems, including hands-on knowledge with firmware deployment on target and debugging
    • Superior written communication required
    • Experience in Agile methodology preferred
    • Prior experience working with Enterprise Architect UML modeling tool, SQL, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), API management and governance a plus
