Software Development Engineer is a key team member in ensuring that our integration and implementation of the SmartAdvisor bill review software suite aligns with the needs of our clients. In this position, you are designing and providing tools and solutions to accommodate custom business needs. You’ll play a critical client-facing role in gathering requirements, defining workflows, designing business rules, and integrating external and internal systems. You’ll be consulted as technical expert and requested to advise team members on the technical feasibility of designs.
Responsibilities include writing MS SQL stored procedures, creating custom reports using MS SQL Server Reporting Services, and performing data migration/conversion using SSIS. Software development experience is a must for success in this role, while Property & Casualty industry knowledge can be a beneficial factor for interpreting and addressing client needs within the context of our application suite.
