    Job Description

    *This position can be located in either our San Diego or Irvine offices.*

     

    Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing for the Mitchell Casualty Solutions Group, the Marketing Specialist's primary responsibility will be driving marketing operations, executing on go-to-market launches, as well as developing, optimizing and executing outbound marketing campaigns that create awareness in the marketplace and drive revenue. In addition, this person will work closely with the Sr. Director of Product Marketing to apply marketing strategies to effectively position messaging to our customers and prospects and develop approaches that communicate how we can best address their needs. This role also has the responsibility of conducting market research, bringing new products to market, developing and executing on marketing strategy, execution of marketing campaigns, monitoring competitive activity, and creating impactful white papers and case studies

     

    Collaborate with subject matter experts, product teams, customers, and other content contributors and reviewers to achieve high-quality deliverables

    • Drive the execution of go-to-market campaigns
    • Identify and lead opportunities and effective strategies for outbound marketing campaigns
    • Write content marketing-related deliverables, articles, and white papers
    • Understand our holistic and product strategy and communicate this through the creation of sales presentations
    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, target key customer problems, and potential product enhancements or ideas
    • Analyze the competitive environment for potential threats and develop a profile of key competitors and an action plans on how we can capitalize
    • Analyze the results of marketing efforts to demonstrate impact and improve performance and make ongoing recommendations
    • Drive continuous improvement (i.e. processes, approach, metrics, etc.)
    • Create Marketing and Lead Reports & Dashboards
    • Build, Manage, and Optimize Prospect Lists
    • Work cross business lines

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field
    • 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, market research, product management, or related field
    • Design experience, especially in PPT and Adobe InDesign desired
    • Key qualitative attributes: solid blend between critical and creative thinking; outstanding communications; inspires and teams with others; goes the extra mile in getting things done right; at ease working across team boundaries
    • Ability to use analytical, logical, and organizational skills to make business decisions using ambiguous, and potentially complex, information
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly
    • Critical and strategic thinking skills
    • Ability to project manage multiple efforts
    • Strong, self-motivated team player
