    Automotive Collision Industry Professional (Collision Specialist for Labor)

Mitchell is a leading provider of information and workflow solutions to the Property & Casualty Claims Industry and their supply chain partners.

    We have a rare and unique opportunity available, to join the team of select individuals who develop the labor allowances that go into Mitchell’s industry leading collision repair estimating products.



    • Leverage industry experience, OEM service information, and field validation studies to develop replacement and refinish labor time allowances for collision damaged vehicles.
    • Provide customer facing support, exceptional service, and added value to insurance carrier and shop partners. Assisting with clarification of labor allowances, operational inclusions, and procedural explanations.
    • Interact with customers and cross-functional teams, actively contributing to the continuous improvement and enhancement of Mitchell solutions.




    • Must have High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
    • Comprehensive understanding of vehicle design, construction and technology, collision repair methodology and techniques.
    • Extensive collision repair industry experience. Hands-on repair experience, and/or experience in multiple functions of the collision industry preferred.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in vehicle damage analysis and estimating. Working knowledge of overlap and procedure page Logic.
    • I-CAR, ASE, OEM, and/or other collision industry training and certifications preferred.
    • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Fundamental familiarity with modern computer software and programs.
