    Job Description

    Mitchell is seeking a talented and highly motivated entry-level designer to step into a fast-paced, in-house creative services team. This person will be working with a team of 5–10 designers and also collaboratively with the Event Dept. as well as the Corp. Marketing Dept. Good communication is a must. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic, energetic creative team. Candidates must be able to execute on conceptualized ideas and assist the team in various areas, including print edits/layout, basic website updates, and video/photography assistance.

    Qualifications

    Applicants must:

    • Have advanced experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
    • Have 1-2 years of relevent experience
    • Have intermediate experience in PowerPoint and presentation development
    • Have a thorough understanding of the prepress process
    • Have strong organization skills, including file management, structure, and naming
    • Have full understanding of program use best practices (e.g. InDesign for print, Photoshop for photo manipulation, Sketch for wireframing, etc.)
    • Have full understanding of different file formats, DPI, exporting and use cases (JPG, PNG, GIF, TIF, EPS, etc.)
    • Have ability to complete production quickly with high quality assurance
    • Follow art direction, process and adapt to artistic and technical feedback in a professional manner
    • Produce work within brand guidelines or established campaign look and feel
    • Be flexible, self-motivated, and fast-paced—ability to work fluidly on projects different hours of the day
    • Work on-site during standard business hours
    • Provides a high level of customer service and ensures a positive customer experience (customer communication, regular status updates, meeting etiquette, professionalism, positive behavior and body language, etc.)
    • Be adaptable to multiple personalities and work well in a collaborative team environment
    • Have a bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience for production artists

    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
    • Excellent communication skills, ability to professionally communicate with customers
    • Highly detail-oriented
    • Customer-oriented, self-motivated and results-driven
    • Desire to work in corporate environment
    • Interest or education in HTML/CSS a plus
