    Job Description

    Mitchell MCN (Medical Consultants Network) is currently seeking a computer-savvy, detail oriented Transcription Coordinator to work in our Seattle office. Please Note: This is NOT a transcription role. The transcription coordinator is responsible for downloading dictation from physicians, assigning it to Mitchell MCN's transcriptionists, and monitoring the queue of work to ensure that transcription is completed in a timely manner. The transcription coordinator also supports our client services team with various tasks, including following up with clients and doctors via phone and email. 

    Job Requirements 
    - Excellent problem solving skills
    - Personal computer literacy and high competency in use of Microsoft Word and ten key
    - Strong detail orientation and organizational skills
    - Excellent listening skills
    - Ability to understand diverse accents and dialects and varying dictation styles
    - Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    - Ability to work under pressure with time constraints
    - Strong oral and written communication skills 

    - Administrative tasks such as client/doctor updates and addendum preparation

    - Other duties as needed


    • 0-2 years of relevant experience
    • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
    • Ability to juggle several high priority tasks at once
    • Experience using Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
