    Job Description

    MCN is currently looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our Information Systems team! Our ideal candidate has experience performing network and systems management within Microsoft-based servers. This individual will work closely with our executives, operations team and a vast majority of internal users within the company. We are looking for someone who is extremely technologically savvy, eager to learn, and is a fun and easy-going person to work with.

    Responsibilities Include: 

    • Maintain all computers, computer systems and networks 
    • Assist helpdesk technician in building/supporting/maintaining all computers, servers and printers 
    • Provide Tier 2 help desk support/escalation for internal and external users when necessary
    • Provide general help desk assistance when technician is unable to handle given workload
    • Manage and maintain networks and network security equipment. This includes firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, security appliances, load balancers and other network equipment
    • Create and maintain virtual machines
    • Create and maintain SAN architecture
    • Maintain backups and snapshots of file systems and SQL databases
    • Manage and deploy Windows patches and update
    • Be the deployment liaison on a rotating sprint schedule to work on deployments with the dev team
    • Additional duties as needed 


    • 4+ years of experience in Systems Administration.
    • Must be familiar with HyperV, VMware, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and Powershell - experience is preferred
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple high priorities. 
    • Personal computer literacy and high competency in use of MS Word and ten key. 
    • Strong attention to detail. 
    • Ability to efficiently organize information from multiple sources. 
    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills. 
    • Well developed customer service and training skills. 
    • Excellent organizational skills. 
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
