    Job Description

    Ground floor opportunity for a software manager to lead a small, high-performing software development team. This position will report to the director of software development for ReviewStat.



    • Mentor and direct team members (both regular and contract) in Mitchell's Agile environment.
    • Oversee sprint-planning, development, and release activities for the team.
    • Assist product management with creating a pipeline of work for the development team.
    • Evaluate performance of team members and conduct mentoring sessions.
    • Maintain supportability, performance & scalability standards for the solution.
    • Ensure adequate internal documentation.
    • Participate in scoping and design sessions to insure accurate work estimations.
    • Cultivate healthy relationships with product management, help/support, client services, and operations groups to insure customer satisfaction.


    • 7+ years software engineering experience, preferably in Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET).
    • 3+ years database design experience, preferably with SQL Server.
    • 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
    • Skilled at managing a software team in an agile project management environment.
    • Experience working with teams in different geographical locations and time zones, including off-shore.
    • Demonstratable communication skills and problem solving ability.
    • Bachelor's Degree or higher required.
    • Computer Science or Software Engineering degree preferred.
