    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Art Director or Sr. Graphic designer to join our well-established B2B in-house creative team. Qualified candidates must be highly experienced in creating on brand, professional, goal-driven creative solutions and marketing campaigns, experienced in effectively art directing and supporting a team of creatives, have proven experience supporting incoming project requests, reviewing work from freelancers, and ultimately overseeing each project to success from concept to completion.


    Confident, proactive, and forward thinking, you will support workflow with a team of talented in-house designers. Reporting in to the Creative Director, you will be one of the “go-to” points of contact for the creative team, handling art direction, project management, and daily operations. You must be comfortable giving and taking constructive feedback and have excellent communication and presentation skills. We want you to support our capabilities and thinking, bringing fresh ideas, technologies or methodologies to the table that will elevate our game.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Art direct team of creatives, must possess ability to provide detailed, constructive, art direction.
    • Lead creative strategy and project kick-off meetings with customers.
    • Collaborate with Creative Director to develop creative concepts and path of execution.
    • Possess solid understanding of all related best practices, industry trends, and new methodologies.
    • Ability to manage and multitask a variety of different projects in a demanding environment.
    • Work well under extremely tight deadlines, as well as managing your time on longer deadlines; must be adaptable and flexible.
    • Strategically advise customers on technical/visual recommendations.


    Candidates must have a minimum 5-8 years’ experience as a senior-level designer or art director and at least 2-5 years of art direction experience. An associate (2 year) degree in advertising, communication design, or visual arts is acceptable; however, a bachelor (4 year) degree is preferred. If no degree is possessed, then 6–8 years related experience in agency or related setting is required.


    Thorough knowledge of the following software applications is required:

    • Creative Cloud programs with high level skills in:
      • Adobe InDesign
      • Adobe Photoshop
      • Adobe Illustrator
      • Abobe XD
    • Sketch
    • Invision App
    • WorkFront OR Experience working in a project management platform 

    Required Skills:

    • Mastery of layout and composition techniques.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
    • Excellent image correction and manipulation skills.
    • Demonstrated understanding of color theory and color relationships.
    • Exceptional understanding of typography, perspective, and spatial relationships.
    • Highly experienced in pre-press and print production processes.
    • Experienced in photo shoot art direction.
    • Ability to manage conflict management internally and with customers.
    • Ability to command respect of designers and freelancers to effectively art direct their work.
    • Can HTML code emails responsive within an email client, and ability to build OFT (outlook file type) emails to support overflow a bonus
