Seeking a talented and seasoned Director of Application Development and Software Engineering to lead Mitchell’s APD next gen collision damage estimating solution through all design, engineering and quality software development.
Mitchell’s APD division is delivering solutions which deliver the proper and safe repair of vehicles – in a time where vehicle complexity is rapidly evolving. You can play a part to ensure safety as consumers have their vehicles repaired. Therefore, the ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing people, projects, technology, quality, and innovation.
This leader must be an effective communicator, work well in a team environment, collaborate well internally and externally, and thrive in a fast-paced culture.
On the technical front, this position will own all initiatives to architect and innovate our next generation estimating solution - executing on our roadmap, instituting best practices, and integrating our impressive suite of artificial intelligence capabilities. He or she should have experience in a hybrid onshore/offshore model and bring a proven background in building scalable data-driven platforms. The leader in this role will partner with product management and architecture teams to establish the direction, standards and processes for the product while maintaining high quality releases and ensuring that the product align to the strategy. Prior engineering management experience with ability to make effective technical decisions while collaborating cross-functionally is required.
